Sandwell LMC periodically holds elections for membership of the LMC Board.
By standing for election to the Committee, you can help make a difference for your colleagues and find a new source of peer support for yourself.
Board Members represent their colleagues and contribute towards the work of the LMC. The Board meet once a month, at 6:30pm on the second Monday of each month. The role is non-remunerated; however, some expenses are paid.
Whether you are a GP and this is your first time standing for election, or you are an existing committee member and want to stand again, you will need to complete the attached nomination form. You may nominate yourself or can be nominated by someone else.
There are 15 members on the Board. If more than 15 nominations are received, and election will ensue. The process of nomination is simple. Please fill out the 2024 SLMC Member Election Form and return by email.
Please Note: If you are standing in this election, you must get a GP from your area to ‘second’ your nomination.
You can do this by sending them your nomination form to complete, or by asking them to email admin@sandwelllmc.com to confirm their support.
All nominations must be received by 5pm on Friday 22nd November 2024
